1) Getting started
How do I know which dance/yoga style is right for me?
It is a little difficult to tell you immediately which style is more suitable. We need to get to know you a little better as a person before we can make a correct assessment. However, the best thing for you to do is to try out different styles for yourself and figure out what you enjoy. Living Arts lets you come for FREE trial lessons (selected classes only) to help you come to a decision. Also, please refer to the List of Classes for an introduction to the range of classes that we offer.
When is the best time to get started?
Anytime is a good time. Just drop by to observe, speak to our instructor or take a risk and join the class. However, if you have any injuries, please consult your GP first before starting a new form of physical activity.
2) Payment of fees
How do I make payments?
Our wide range of classes offers different payment schemes. Some are pay per month, others pay per term. Please refer to “Fees & Schedule”. Only Cash & Cheques are accepted.
Can I enroll when the term/month has started? Will I be able to catch up with the rest?
Yes, new students who enroll for a course half way through the term should pay a pro-rata rate based on 12 lessons. This is only applicable for students who pay full fees. Our instructors will guide you according to your capabilities.
Why do I have to pay for 12 lessons up front for certain dance classes?
Our objective is to “educate” the public about dance in Malaysia. For us to fully execute our teachings based on our syllabus, we would require 12 hours of uninterrupted lessons. At the end of 12 lessons, you will be better equipped with the knowledge of the dance form that you signed up for. We are very result-orientated and performance-driven. Exams and assessments are optional. However, regular attendance must be kept, otherwise progress cannot be guaranteed.
Can I pay by installments?
Unfortunately, we accept only full payment at the beginning of the term or month.
3) Replacement class
What if I miss a class? Will there be a replacement?
Yes, you could attend another class within the same term or month to replace the classes you’ve missed.
What if the studio cancels a class? Will I get a refund?
Our teaching staff offers a healthy level of commitment to all classes. Should there be any cancellation, students will be informed in advance and the lesson will be carried forward. Unfortunately, there will be no refund.

I love to perform. Does Living Arts provide any opportunities?
