For participants of our 5^th Annual Dance Recital which took place on 13 November 2011, your DVDs are ready for collection and the Pictures are also up and available for sale.

What is new this month?
We are very lucky to have Marc Bauchet from France to conduct an Advanced Acroyoga Workshop in Living Arts! This workshop will hopefully raise the level of yoga, dance and acrobatics in Malaysia!

We hope to see you very soon in the studio!

The holidays are approaching and we would like to wish you;

The studio will be closed for Term Break
on December 24 (Saturday) – January  3 (Tuesday).

All classes will resume on January 4, Wednesday.
(except for Kids Jazz who will be back on January 3 @ 8-9pm)

Living Arts’ 5th Annual Dance Recital will be held on November 13 in Black Box Theatre, MAP @ Publika. Everybody is welcomed! We are delighted to announce that this event marks the 5th Anniversary of Living Arts. We strive to bring you quality dance performances (amateur and professional) and a chance to give back to the society.

Admission fee is priced at RM20 per person. We will be donating a % of proceeds to a local animal charity group myanimalcare.org.

Keep walking towards Block A5 (no visible signboard) & enter these glass doors

Upon entering, look left and you’ll see a massive white space that is called the White Box

Look to your right and this is Black Box Theatre. You have arrived!

Apart from hosting two theatre spaces, Publika is also a home to Arts Galleries, Decorative Art Pieces, Antiques, Sculptures and you’ll also have fun scouting the area for delicious food! See you there on November 13!

Living Arts Dance Studio is Malaysia’s leading kids’ creative movement & dance studio we are proud to present our 5th Annual Dance Recital. This event will feature local talents from as young as age 2 years old to adults of all ages. For most of them, this is their first unique experience of dancing on stage. As an audience, you will be treated to entertaining dance pieces and glamorous costumes on stage.

Being a supportive and active audience is very important to the continuous growth of Performing Arts.

Every year since our inception in November 2006, we have organized competitions and talent shows with the following objectives:

• To promote dance as a healthy living culture

• To celebrate dance as part of our lives regardless of age

• To provide a platform for our local dance talents to perform and gain confidence

• To expose our community to local dance talents

• To enable dancers of all ages & dance experiences to learn from one another

Kids Gymnastics Class

Starting: August 3, Wednesday

7.30pm – 8.30pm.

Fee is RM100 per month.

This class is suitable for kids
aged 4 – 12 years old.

They will develop Physical qualities
i.e. agility, quickness, jumping, balancing and Aesthetic qualities i.e. musicality, dance movements, expression & artistry.
